Forescout Appoints Gord Boyce to CEO
Cupertino, Calif. – October 22, 2009 – Forescout Technologies, the leading provider of network access control (NAC) appliances for global enterprises and government organizations, today announced changes in its management team. After seven years at the helm of Forescout Technologies, Mr. T. Kent Elliott, will relinquish his position as CEO on December 31, 2009. Mr. Elliott will be focusing his attention on not-for-profit activities but will remain on the Board of Directors of Forescout, assuming the role of Executive Vice Chairman of the Company. In this capacity, Mr. Elliott will oversee strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
The Board of Directors of Forescout is pleased to announce the promotion of Gord Boyce to CEO, effective January 1, 2010. Mr. Boyce joined the company in 2006 as VP Sales and Marketing and assumed further responsibilities when he was appointed President in August 2007.
These appointments come on the heels of another record third quarter and year to date performance under Elliott and Boyce’s leadership.
