Forescout helps the largest enterprise organizations around the world gain complete and real-time visibility into the growing number of devices connected to their network. After deployment, many organizations can see between 30% – 50% more devices on their network than originally anticipated. By gaining this visibility across the entire extended enterprise, including IoT and operational technology (OT) devices, organizations can then manage their attack surface, mitigate cybersecurity risk, achieve compliance, and manage asset inventory.
Forescout provides one of the most widely deployed, enterprise-class platforms at scale across IT, IoT and OT managed and unmanaged devices. We arm customers with extensive device intelligence, data, and policies to allow organizations across every industry to accurately classify risk, detect anomalies and quickly remediate cyberthreats without disruption of critical business assets.
As organizations benefit from increased connectivity, productivity rises to new levels. The byproduct is an expanding attack surface that enterprises need to manage as there is a rapidly increasing use of IoT devices. These come with additional risk as IoT devices often remain invisible on enterprise networks because unlike traditional IT systems, they can’t be easily tracked and rarely support software agents. Forescout provides agentless device discovery, classification, and risk assessment.
Forescout continues to be a leader in the cybersecurity market by investing heavily in research and development to provide customers with the leading solution for device visibility and control. The Forescout Device Cloud is one of the world’s largest device repositories and now contains more than 13 million device-type fingerprints from more than 1,000 customers who share anonymized device insights. Forescout uses the Device Cloud data to analyze more than 150 attributes per device to bring increased device intelligence and improved auto-classification to its customers.
Last year, Forescout Research Labs launched its Project Memoria initiative with the mission of providing the cybersecurity community with the most extensive study to date of the security or various widely TCP/IP stacks. As part of Project Memoria, the Forescout team has discovered nearly 100 new vulnerabilities in the last 12 months affecting many TCP/IP Stacks with multi-millions of devices affected globally. This intelligence is leading to broader discussions on vulnerability disclosures in the emerging IoT/OT world and sharing specific recommendations to actively defend networks and organizations.
Forescout is honored to be recognized as the Overall IoT Security Solution Provider of the Year and look forward to continuing to partner with our customers to enhance their IoT security and deliver more visibility to their Enterprise of Things.
