Theresia Gouw provides invaluable insights as a successful engineer, entrepreneur, and investor. Theresia is the Founding Partner of early stage venture capital firm Acrew Capital. She has led early investments in Cato Networks, Deserve, Exabeam, The Muse, Crew, ShieldX and PredictHQ. Previously, Theresia was a Co-founder and Managing Partner of Aspect Ventures, Managing General Partner at Accel, Founding VP at Release Software, PM at Silicon Graphics and an associate at Bain & Company.
Chief Executive Officer and President
With more than 25 years of industry experience, including serving as President of McAfee and prior as Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Michael is leading the cybersecurity charge as Chief Executive Officer, President and Board of Directors member of Forescout. Michael earned a bachelor of arts degree from Villanova University.
James Beer is the Chief Financial Officer of Atlassian, a leading provider of team collaboration and productivity software. James brings in-depth global business and financial expertise to Forescout. He serves on the board of directors for Alaska Air Group, parent company of Alaska Airlines and Virgin America. He is also a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco's Economic Advisory Council. Between 2013 and 2017, James oversaw all financial functions at McKesson Corporation as Chief Financial Officer and served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Symantec Corporation from 2006 to 2013. Beer was also Chief Financial Officer of AMR Corp. and American Airlines, AMR's principal subsidiary between 2004 and 2006.
Dave Dewalt brings more than 25 years of experience building industry-transforming organizations. Previously, he served as the CEO of both McAfee (acquired by Intel) and Documentum (acquired by EMC). He was appointed to the National Security Telecommunications Advisory Council by President Barack Obama in May 2011 and currently serves on the board of directors of Five9 and Delta Airlines.
Elizabeth Hackenson is CIO of Schneider Electric, which is leading the digital transformation in energy management and automation in homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and operational technology (OT) industries. Prior to Schneider Electric Elizabeth served as CIO and SVP of Technology and Services at The AES Corporation. Her previous leadership roles also include SVP and CIO at Alcatel-Lucent and EVP and CIO for MCI. In 2014, Ms. Hackenson was inducted into the CIO Hall of Fame by CIO Magazine.
Mark Jensen brings over 30 years of strategic public and private technology experience to Forescout. Mark worked at Deloitte as the Managing Partner of the Technology and Venture Capital Services Division as well as Audit and Enterprise Risk Services. Prior to joining Deloitte, Mark served as Managing Partner for Arthur Andersen LLP, leading the global technology practice. Mark currently sits on the board of directors as the Audit Committee Chair at both Control4 and Lattice Semiconductor.
Kathy McElligott is EVP, CIO, and CTO of McKesson Corporation where she is responsible for all technology initiatives guides the overall direction for the company’s healthcare technology products and provides support for application development processes companywide. Prior to McKesson, McElligott served as the CIO of Emerson, a global manufacturing and technology company. Previously, McElligott spent 22 years with General Electric. McElligott sits on the board at ArcBest and was inducted to the CIO Hall of Fame by CIO Magazine in 2019.
Enrique Salem brings a wealth of experience as a proven executive, investor and board member to Forescout. Enrique joined Bain Capital Ventures in 2014, partnering with entrepreneurs to build disruptive infrastructure software and services companies. Enrique served as the CEO of Symantec, as well as the President and CEO of Brightmail. Enrique currently serves on the board of directors for FireEye, Docusign, Netskope, Attivo Networks, Tidal Scale, Evident.io, Clari, Atlassian and Biba Systems. In 2011, Enrique was appointed to President Barack Obama’s Management Advisory Board.
Co-founder and Board Member
Hezy Yeshurun offers invaluable technical and entrepreneurial insights as Forescout co-founder and former board chair. Hezy is a thought leader who has founded several successful technology companies, including TapGuard (acquired by Elron Software) and Top Image Systems. Hezy is a Professor of Computer Science at Tel Aviv University with a focus on Computer Vision and Computation Neuroscience. In addition, he was the Chairman of the Israeli National IT Committee and on the board of the Israeli chapter of W3C.
