Forescout Names Sam Davis Vice President of Business Development
Cupertino, Calif. — August 3, 2011 — Forescout Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of automated security control solutions for Fortune 1000 enterprises and government organizations, today announced that Sam Davis has joined the company as its new vice president of Business Development. Davis will be responsible for the overall management of Forescout’s business development organization including strategic partnerships and channel development.
By expanding its leadership team Forescout continues to build on its success with strategic partnerships, which has resulted in Forescout offering one of the most highly interoperable solutions in the market for network access control (NAC), mobile security, endpoint compliance and threat prevention.
The addition of Davis fortifies Forescout’s investment in strategic and channel partnerships. Last month Forescout rolled out its new Access Partner Program to empower resellers, system integrators and service providers with the means to successfully market and deliver services around Forescout’s award-winning automated security control platform.
Davis, a proven industry veteran, brings 25 years of experience with a wealth of business development experience in global channel development, as well as strategic and revenue-bearing partnerships from companies both large and small. Prior to joining Forescout, Davis held a business development leadership role at HP, and has also worked in similar capacities for several leading technology companies including ArcSight, MicroMuse, Riversoft, Lancope and Arbor Networks. Sam’s passion for addressing business requirements through technology began while he was serving in the U.S. Navy and this passion has been the cornerstone of his technical sales and business development career.
