ForeScout Joins McAfee Security Innovation Alliance

Customers to Benefit from Real-time Compliance Optimization Platform

Cupertino, Calif. — August 26, 2008 — ForeScout Technologies, a leader in access control and compliance solutions, today announced that it has joined the McAfee Security Innovation Alliance (SIA) partner program. Under the McAfee SIA program, ForeScout will integrate its CounterACT™ Network Access Control solution with ePolicy Orchestrator® (ePO™) software, McAfee's enterprise security and compliance management system. This integration will extend the network enforcement options managed therein and extend coverage to more devices on the corporate network, including those in non-802.1x environments.

CounterACT is an out-of-band, clientless network access control appliance that delivers business-ready NAC by providing the ability to detect every device, interrogate the device for policy compliance, enforce network security policies and remediate non-compliant systems.
