CUPERTINO, Calif. — August 23, 2004—ForeScout Technologies, Inc., the leading enterprise worm containment and intrusion prevention company, announced today that GMCC (Guangdong Mobile Communications Co. LTD.), a member of China Mobile Communications Corporation, the largest mobile service provider in China, has deployed its network perimeter security software. By adding ActiveScout to its network security defense, GMCC is now able to deflect attacks from hackers and worms attempting to compromise the security of its network resources.
